Spox: Moscow favors closer trade, economic ties with France
MOSCOW, May 29 (PRIME) -- Moscow stands for closer coordination with France in the trade and economic sphere despite restrictions from both sides, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Monday prior to President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
“These are first of all bilateral talks. You know that there are many cooperation mechanisms that were rolled up. Along with this there is an obvious need for closer coordination despite restrictive measures from both sides,” he said.
Fight against terrorism will be also touched upon during the talks, Peskov said.
